Henri Sillaste, player of Põlva Serviti
“Luckily, our team has no Covid problems at the moment. Some players were missing at today’s game, but the reasons are personal. Today’s game was under our control from the start till the end of the game. The task was to give all players the necessary playing time. We did not underestimate the opponent and all players did their best.”

  • HK Ogre/Hydrox – HC Kehra/Horizon Pulp&Paper            37:34 (20:15)

Andris Molotanovs, head coach of HK Ogre/Hydrox
“The situation with Covid was critical last week, so the games were postponed. Today we were almost in a best roster, although with only one goalkeeper, because Elvijs passed the test only today, and being responsible, while waiting for the result, he decided not to participate in the game. As for the goals of the second round, of course we want to prove that we are a better team, in this round I hope that there will be no shortages in the line-up, as it was at the first part of the season. There were also moments today when we could play better and more disciplined, but there is always the joy of two points. Tomorrow will be a serious game, a serious test against Polva. We have to play a good game.”

  • ZRHK Tenax Dobele – HC Vilnius               34:33 (17:17)

Kristians Pavļenko, player of ZRHK Tenax Dobele
“We played today’s game after a break of more than a month. The start of the game was not easy neither for us or our opponents, from the beginning of the game we solved and looked for situations that we do better in this game. We showed our fighting spirit and character, we tried to do everything we could on the field and give away 200% of ourselves. Unfortunately, Emīls Kurzemnieks was injured during the game, which only motivated us even more and made us stronger, so we “bite our teeth” to win. At the end of the game, we made an intrigue by ourselves, because there were a plus four, but we didn’t protect our advantage. Tomorrow is the game again, we will try to rest, tomorrow we will go to fight again.”

  • Viljandi HC – Varsa-Stronglasas Alytus                   27:24 (13:12)

Kristo Voika, player of Viljandi HC
“It was quite tough games, as expected. We started good, we were leading by four, but then we started to make some changes and Alytus came back in the game. It was tight until the last second. We knew that the game won’t be easy, but we could have played better, especially at home. We used a lot of our players and that is a good sign, also if we are thinking about tomorrow. Altytus goalkeeper Was at the top level today, we had some trouble to score against him and that was quite bad for us.”
