Eugenijus Gimbutas, coach of Varsa Stronglasas Alytus
“We were two quite similar teams, but the opponent was a bit more successful and better at the end of the game. Congratulations to your opponents!”

– HC Vilnius – SK Tapa 35:29 (20:14)
Rokas Kubilevičius, player of HC Vilnius
“I think that the strongest part of our game today was defense. We were lacking concentration today, made some silly mistakes, but everything else was fine.”
Vahur Oolup, player of SK Tapa
“For me today‘s game was pretty okay, but I think, that 30 percent of our shots went over the goal, we missed a lot of shots. HC Vilnius is a very good team, they played like they usually do. We had only one goalkeeper, so it was tough for us. Our strongest thing, I think, is when we get 2 or 3 goals in a row, we get emotional and this is our rock that keeps us together. But today was not that day.”
Raimond Himma, player of SK Tapa
“We went to play the game with a positive attitude, the first 15 minutes our game was going smoothly. Then our defense got a bit passive and we couldn’t score against the other team’s goalkeeper and that’s when we started staying behind. The second half we started playing positively and caught up a little bit, but we still had trouble scoring. On a positive note, I would like to mention Vahur, whose goals kept us in the game and didn’t let the opposite team get too far ahead. For tomorrow’s game we are going to fix our mistakes and will give it our maximum.”

– VHC Šviesa – HC Viljandi 31:26 (16:12)
Kristo Voika, player and coach of HC Viljandi
“Today we had a long bus-drive and we were a little bit late for the game. We were in a harry already before the game, but that’s that. I think our young players should be ready to play also after 15 hours in the bus. But that’s another story. We started the game bad, but we worked our way back in it and were in the game until the end. If we got closer than 2-3 goals, we made 2-3 mistakes and the gap was again five goals. Life goes on! Season is in the middle.”
