Disciplinary Commission Overturns HIFK-GrIFK Match Result Due to Ineligible Player

The Women’s Baltic Sea Handball League (WBSHL) Disciplinary Commission has issued a decision regarding the November 23, 2024, match between HIFK and GrIFK. Originally, GrIFK secured a 31-21 victory, but the result has been changed to a technical loss of 10-0 in favor of HIFK due to the inclusion of an ineligible player on GrIFK’s roster.

The investigation revealed that one of the team’s players who participated in the game was not correctly registered on the GrIFK team list before the game.
