March 5, 2022
The regular season of the Baltic Handball League has reached a crucial stage. This is the final weekend of regular-season action before the playoffs begin.
Only Polva Serviti and Viljandi HC, who have achieved direct qualification to the Final Four, can be confident heading into the last matchweek. VHC Sviesa has also qualified for the playoffs. The final three slots will be decided this weekend, and for the remaining playoff tickets, four clubs are competing: Granitas Kaunas, HC Vilnius, Dragunas Klaipeda, and Dobele Tenax.
Although the other clubs are no longer vying for a place in the play-offs, every point won is priceless. The top eight teams will receive direct entry into the Baltic League for the next season, with all remaining hits determined by the total number of points earned by each country. The Baltic Handball League allows a maximum of six teams per country to compete.
