January 28, 2022
Another Baltic Handball week, another 10 games, with only two games postponed because of COVID 19 cases. This is a tough time, but we are getting through this and trying to play as many games as possible and all our postponed games are rescheduled. That means we are going to have quite busy spring and end of the season, until we find out the champions of season 2021/2022.
Leaders Põlva Serviti, as well as HC Kehra/Horizon Pulp&Paper are heading to Latvia to play two games against two Latvian teams – SK Latgols Ludza (currently place 13th) and HC Ogre/Hydrox (currently place 12th). Another Latvians ZRHK Tenax Dobele are welcoming two Lithuanian teams in Dobele, on Saturday HC Vilnius, but on Sunday VHC Šviesa Vilnius, with whom they last played a tie game – 28:28. This could be interesting. The longest trip in this weekend are ahead of Granitas – Karys Kaunas and Varsa – Stronglasas Alytus, because they have scheduled games in Estonia against HC Viljandi and SK Tapa. SK Tapa and Varsa Stronglasas last played an exciting game, where Varsa won only by one point – 33:32. Also this game could be worth to catch an eye on it. As well as all other games, because in sports – you never know.
